I recently stayed at this hotel and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The prices were very reasonable and the attention to detail was impressive. I loved the location, as it was far away from the hustle and bustle of the marina, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that all my needs were met. The rooms were spacious and had a great view of the lagoon, with comfy beds that ensured a good night's sleep. And I must mention the breakfast, which had a wide variety of options to choose from, ensuring a satisfying start to the day.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory.

Service is sooooo poooor

The snorkeling spot was just 2 km away from here, and we really enjoyed it; everything was pleasant during our stay, and the pool was very convenient; the surrounding neighborhood is worth exploring.

The hotel has lack of facilities as below: no paths for baby holders the air condition in lobby very bad the hotel many insects the staff is not friendly

Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent facilities (spa, etc) within reach using boat/golf cars... Private beach was excellent and the day trip chasing dolphins and snorkling was marvellous... A nice walk at night on the golf course to downtown... Wide food variety out of the hotel - el gouna was pretty nice out of steigenberger and it was always nice when we came back and parked right under our rooms... Different nationalities mixed together perfectly everyone enjoying their time and not minding others... Our 1.5 yr old daughter enjoyed the kids pool and watching the dolphins, or just the ride around el gouna in the car

1. Perhaps more activities for kids like shows, playgrounds... 2. i wouldn't rely on the hotels' restaurant - a la carte - for all the days... it's not bad, but other varieties are available outside the hotel and there are supermarkets (like bestway) for light snacks at cheaper prices

The restaurant food and variety at Steigenberger Golf Resort was perfect. The lagoons and golf resort were beautifully designed and served. The free boat to the sea was a great added bonus.
